Over the last few years, we have undertaken urgent remedial works including a roof overlay, repairing estate roads, replacing and painting external elevations, updating services, utilities and drainage, ramping up security (CCTV and automatic timed locking entry systems), replacing traditional with LED lighting and new signage. Additional parking is currently being provided at the rear of the estate. The office/workshop communal areas have been partially refurbished.
Spithead Business Centre is now 90 per cent let with just a couple of units available including two B1/B2/B8/leisure units (@4,000 sq ft). This turnaround is mainly due to the support of the current tenants and their trust in the owner’s commitment to the long term future of the estate. As a consequence of this, important new leases were signed with all our major anchor tenants.
